Over the last seven days, we’ve met, shared, taught, given, invited and encouraged hundreds of people in Malabar and the surrounding suburbs.
Thank you to all our helpers- Philip, Marcelle, David, Dave, Chris, Simon, Nicole, Anita, Paul, Lincoln, Sof, and Kristan.
There have been a huge number, and wide variety of outreach activities to help us connect with our church neighbours.
Our aim this week has been to get the Word of God out to as many people as possible. We’ve done that through sermons, Scripture lessons, evangelistic talks, general conversations, doorknocking, washing cars(!), and our cooking and youth night!. I am absolutely convinced that God’s Word, the gospel, is the power of salvation for everyone who believes. I deeply desire that all people be made new in Christ, mature in Christ, and will make Christ known. And every time we open up the Bible to read and understand it, we can expect God to work in our midst to this end.
It has been an exciting week, as we have brought the Word of life into people’s mental spaces (if not hearts yet). Pray that God’s Spirit will convict people of their sin and their need for God’s Son. Thank you to everyone who made our week a success. God was truly glorified! (Andrew).
